When you bring your computer to us, or we pick it up from you, the first thing we do is diagnose the fault and report the issue to you. From here you can decide whether you want go ahead to resolve and repair the issue. A diagnosis can take anything up to 1 hours to perform, so for this we charge a set fee. We do however waiver the diagnoses fee should your Macintosh need a repair and you go ahead with it. (The diagnoses is free if you have the repair work done with us).

1. Dear Mac Repair Team! There was a water leek in the house and most likely some water flow down along the cable. Now i can neither start my powermac nor my apple cinema screen. I would like to make an appointment. Further could you inform me pls what the damage might be, how difficult to repair and what the cost would be? 2. Hello,I have purchased a second hand ibook g4 for basic use, mainly surfing the net and sync with my iphone. I would like to get a decent mac but wanted to try one first without spending a fortune. I have not been given the user password and the previous owner doesnt have it. Without this I am unable to update anything, including itunes and my iphone which is still stuck on ver 3.1.3 and running slow. Can you reset to factory without any codes? If yes please advise costs, I can take machine to you if required.
2. Backlight cuts in and out when moving screen.Have taken macbook apart twice and both times there has been a temporary improvement but opening and closing causes the problem to return. I now have to have the macbook screen open at all times. Even when transporting. Not ideal. I have had assistance from a local mac reseller who said the problem is a common one with this series of macbook and is down to a design fault which has now been fixed in the newer model. He seemed to think the problem could be fixed with a replacement cable. However he didn’t carry out repairs and would have had to send it to apple who charge the price of a new macbook for repairs.
3.Hi I have a 2006 (approx) iMac 17″ intel machine which has developed several vertical lines down the screen. I would like to have this repaired and wondered what it would cost to do. I understand this is not an uncommon problem. Thanks
4. I’m unable to access my hard disk and think that the motherboard has broken. I’d like to bring the Mac into you for a diagnostic check and repair if possible. If not possible, I would like to be able to retrieve the data on the hard disk.
